Job DescriptionWhat is the opportunity? Reporting to the Director, Business Risk Management, the employee will be a key contributor to the Business Risk Management program for the RBC Clear Business. Working closely with partners in the 1LoD and 2LoD including the CM Operational Risk, Controls & Governance team, 2LoD Risk team(s), RBC Clear Ops team, RBC Clear Products team and PMO teams, this role will support the continued build out of a highly effective Risk Management practice within the RBC Clear business.
What will you do?- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management practices, and corporate governance processes within RBC Clear.
- Ability to identify and assess risks and controls within RBC Clear and provide guidance to the Ops and Product teams in the creation and execution of controls.
- Support the Director in ongoing monitoring of Risk Profile and Control Effectiveness and reporting to Senior Leadership.
- Provide expert insights on Risks (including Fraud Risk) associated with major change initiatives, process improvements, and transformational projects.
- Foster and maintain relationships with the 1LoD CM Operational Risk, Controls and Governance team, Fraud Risk Centre of Governance and 2LoD Risk team(s) to facilitate collaboration and effective Risk Management.
- Support the Director, Business Risk Management in the day-to-day operation of the RBC Clear Fraud Risk Management program including Fraud investigations and identifying and implementing enhancements to the program.

$115,000.00 - $165,000.00
