Job Description
We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President to join our Controllers team. This role is located in Pittsburgh.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
The Vice President, Accounting will support financial oversight within the Finance/Accounting function for certain BNY legal entities. This role is responsible for legal entity accounting and reporting activities including financial close, BOD reporting and analytical review of balance sheet and income statement. This individual will also be responsible for the revenue analysis, including deferred revenue treatment, and accounting guidance related to potential client contract structures. The position will also serve as a key participant in system migration projects, helping to ensure alignment with accounting, reporting, and control requirements. The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting and financial analysis experience, sound judgment, and the ability to collaborate effectively across business, internal/external audit and finance teams.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Typically 5-10 years of relevant experience
CPA preferred
Advanced Excel, familiarity for Power BI, Power Query, AI and other technologies
Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
Ability to reimagine processes

Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award.
