Full Job Description
We're looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our Salesforce team, reporting to the Director, Software Development. In this role, you'll help shape how we build scalable tools and processes that drive business decisions and enhance how teams work across Nasdaq Verafin.

You'll fit right in if you're collaborative, curious, and energized by solving complex problems, working across teams, and building smart solutions that support our rapidly growing business.

What You'll Do
  • Design, develop, and deliver end-to-end Salesforce features - including analysis, UI components, customization, testing, release, and ongoing support.
  • Implement Salesforce Lightning components and manage SFDC data to ensure high-quality user experience, system performance, and data integrity.
  • Lead Salesforce DevOps practices, build automation frameworks, and create test strategies to improve deployment efficiency and code quality.
  • Troubleshoot application issues, monitor system performance, and drive continuous improvements through innovation and process optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, maintain clear documentation, and actively participate in Scrum ceremonies with a positive, solutions-focused approach.


What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have
  • Advanced Salesforce expertise demonstrated through Platform Developer II (or similar) certification, with familiarity across key Clouds such as Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud.
  • Experience working in regulated or SaaS environments with exposure to broader development and architecture best practices.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum) and ability to collaborate effectively in iterative development cycles.


This position is located Toronto and offers a hybrid work environment with at least three days a week in the office, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.

The base pay range for this role is $86,000 - $118,000. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
