Full Job Description
We are currently looking for a Vendor Procurement Manager at our Edmonton corporate location.

What Moves You:
  • You're a strategic thinker who understands that who you buy from, and on what terms, is one of the most powerful levers an organization has, and you take real ownership over building a vendor ecosystem that creates lasting competitive advantage.
  • You're energized by building the kind of long-term supplier relationships where both sides genuinely win and the organization captures every dollar of value it has earned.
  • You hold vendors accountable with the same discipline you hold yourself to
  • You lead with data and influence without authority. You can walk a branch manager through a procurement strategy they didn't ask for, make the business case clearly, and bring them on board without friction.
  • You're a builder at heart. Whether it's a procurement strategy, a vendor performance framework, or a high-performing team, and find satisfaction in creating structures that outlast any single transaction.

What You'll Do:
  • Establish and execute the national vendor and dealer strategy negotiating OEM fleet agreements, volume commitments, and incentive programs, and ensuring every eligible dollar is captured, reconciled, and allocated to the right branches.
  • Source, engage, and manage the full supplier ecosystem from initial qualification and contract negotiation through to annual performance reviews, rebate calculations, and ongoing compliance monitoring against negotiated agreements.
  • Define and report the KPIs that govern procurement performance, acquisition cost versus benchmark, incentive and rebate capture, on-contract spend, and vendor compliance - presenting findings to leadership and driving corrective action where gaps exist.
  • Partner with Finance on floorplan capacity, capital plan phasing, and cross-border cost exposure, while continuously identifying cost reduction opportunities and educating Branch and Department Managers on procurement processes and strategy.
  • Lead and develop a team of direct reports, oversee asset security and building maintenance operations, and ensure these functions run safely, efficiently, and in alignment with organizational policies and service provider agreements.

What You'll Bring:
  • 10+ years of experience in the automotive industry, fleet management, or procurement including 5+ years in a management role with demonstrated hands-on experience working directly with OEMs, dealer groups, and upfitters on fleet incentive, rebate, and volume programs.
  • A proven track record of building and executing procurement strategies that deliver measurable cost savings, strong vendor relationships, and a culture of long-term commercial discipline across a complex, multi-location organization.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including the ability to build a business case, partner effectively with Finance, and translate fleet and spend data into decisions that leadership can act on with confidence.
  • Exceptional negotiation and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and align branch and department leaders without direct authority and build supplier relationships that consistently deliver value on both sides of the table.
  • A bachelor's degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline. A Supply Chain Management Certificate is preferred and NAFA/CAFM certification is a meaningful asset - along with a valid driver's license and the understanding that a pre-hire criminal security clearance and credit check will be required.

What We Offer:
  • Competitive wages and flexible benefits.
  • Our company RRSP matching program.
  • 50% off rentals at any of our Driving Force locations.
  • Learning and growth opportunities.
  • Paid vacation and wellness time.
  • We support your wellbeing through our Thrive wellness program.
  • We 'Celebrate Great' through our rewards and recognition programs.
