Varicent Developer
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
• Extensive experience in Varicent ICM/SPM development, configuration, administration, and support.
• Strong expertise in Varicent Composer, Reports, Dashboards, Scorecards, and Calculation Manager.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, database design, ETL development, data modeling, and data analysis.
• Deep understanding of Incentive Compensation Management (ICM), commission calculations, quotas, territories, and crediting rules.
• Hands-on experience integrating Varicent with Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, Workday, and other enterprise applications.
• Strong knowledge of Varicent architecture, security models, performance optimization, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, SDLC processes, release management, and DevOps practices.
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements and convert them into scalable and sustainable technical solutions.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.
• Proven ability to lead development initiatives, mentor junior team members, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Design, develop, implement, and maintain Varicent compensation applications, calculations, workflows, and data models.
• Configure and enhance compensation plans, commission structures, quotas, territories, and credit assignment rules.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, scorecards, and executive analytics solutions using Varicent Composer.
• Build, support, and monitor data integrations, ETL processes, inbound/outbound interfaces, and automated data loads.
• Validate, reconcile, audit, and troubleshoot compensation data to ensure accurate commission calculations and payouts.
• Investigate and resolve application issues, data discrepancies, calculation errors, and performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, sales operations teams, and product owners to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Implement best practices related to security, governance, scalability, performance tuning, and system reliability.
• Support unit testing, SIT, UAT, deployments, production releases, and post-production validation activities.
• Act as a Varicent Subject Matter Expert (SME) by providing technical guidance, driving process improvements, and supporting strategic compensation initiatives.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, code reviews, and release activities within Agile delivery teams.
• Create and maintain technical doc umentation, support runbooks, solution design documents, and deployment procedures.
Salary Range- $110,000-$140,000 a year
