Job Summary:The UX/UI Product Designer will be a key member of the Digital Experience Product team, responsible for managing multiple initiatives within the entire guest journey across all digital platforms including our resort websites, EpicPass.com, and My Epic app. We are looking for a digital thought leader that has a strong grasp on best-in-class website UI design, UX best practices, digital trends, and the competitive landscape to inform the product vision. Ideally, you are familiar with HTML and CSS (you will not code but will have to take a look at the code at times). The UX/UI Product Designer is an influential, cross-functional team leader responsible for driving significant and sustainable business growth by optimizing the user experience resulting in higher conversion. Job Responsibilities:- Work with stakeholders, product owners, and development partners to create user-focused design solutions.
- Create deliverables that solve real user/business problems including low/mid fidelity Wireframes, high fidelity development ready designs, and user testing prototypes.
- Own the UX research to understand best practices in the market and user needs to create scalable and creative solutions.
- Participate and help drive User Testing and Research to help create and visualize user journeys/mapping based on business and guest needs.
- Balance the complex needs of the business and the best digital experience for the guests.
- Ideate, design, and execute A/B test solutions to solve real friction points and help grow the business.
- Help define and evolve the design system of a complex, customizable website network across multiple brands.
- Lead design projects and present your work to stakeholders and team members. Explain and advocate for recommended solutions to leadership.
- Own and manage multiple projects with overlapping timelines in a dynamic environment.
- See design through the entire process, from ideation to final execution. This includes performing desk checks to make sure the final product aligns with the intended design, functions, and vision of the Digital Product Team.
- Ensure that our designs meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance.
Job Requirements:- Bachelor's or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years in UX/UI design
- An analytical mind invested in collaborating on tough problems
- Experience with quick decision-making and rapid designs
- The ability to break down problems and work within constraints
- An open mind and a willingness to accept and give constructive feedback
- Flexibility and a positive attitude, and an eagerness to evolve
- Customer focused ecommerce experience
- Strong Figma skills, including experience with Variants, Libraries, Tokens, and Prototypes
- Experience creating design systems using Figma variables to define Storybook Library Tokens
- Bonus for experience with using AI to improve the workflow
- Create prototypes for user testing and presentation purposes
The expected Total Compensation for this role is $90,000.00 - $112,000.00 + annual bonus. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
