Full Job Description
Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a UX/UI Designer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in the USA. Our client is one of the world's largest and fastest-growing job sites.

You will own the end-to-end design of small-to-medium scoped projects across Indeed's Passport authentication surfaces and account security experiences, covering both employer and jobseeker products. You will also partner with senior full-time designers on larger initiatives where additional design support is needed.

The ideal candidate combines strong UX and visual design skills with systems thinking and technical literacy. You should be comfortable working independently on defined initiatives, collaborating closely with product and engineering teams, and translating complex authentication, account, and security requirements into clear, production-ready designs.

Requirements

  • Portfolio demonstrating strong product and visual design skills, including end-to-end flows for web and mobile applications. A portfolio submission is mandatory; applications without a portfolio will be considered incomplete.
  • Product design experience shipping production software, ideally including account, onboarding, authentication, or other flow-based product experiences.
  • Experience designing, shipping, and iterating on product experiences in close collaboration with product management and engineering teams.
  • Proven ability to design complex, multi-path flows that branch based on user or account conditions.
  • Strong attention to edge cases, error and recovery states, accessibility, and user control across connected product surfaces.
  • Strong understanding of UX principles and the ability to translate business and technical requirements into clear design direction.
  • Experience working within an established design system and extending it responsibly rather than working around it.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma, strong prototyping skills, and experience producing clear engineering handoff documentation.
  • Clear communication and a collaborative, low-ego approach to working across functions.
  • Strong combination of systems thinking and visual design skills, with the ability to design end-to-end experiences within complex technical systems.
  • Technical literacy to reason about authentication flows, verification and session states, routing logic, system dependencies, and error and edge-case handling directly with engineers; coding experience is not required.
  • Experience with Figma, an established or enterprise-scale design system, and standard collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Slack, or equivalent platforms.
  • 3-5 years of UX design experience. Portfolio evidence and case-study depth are more important than tenure; candidates should demonstrate shipped, engineering-implemented work on complex, multi-path flows and the ability to operate independently on defined initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end design for small-to-medium scoped projects across Authentication Experience and Account Management initiatives for H2 FY26, including problem framing, exploration, iteration, and delivery of engineering-ready specifications.
  • Partner with senior full-time designers on larger initiatives where additional design support is needed.
  • Conduct cross-flow systems work, identifying inconsistencies and gaps across employer and jobseeker identity surfaces.
  • Create rapid MVP explorations for experimental initiatives.
  • Conduct current-state audits and create flow maps covering sign-up and sign-in entry points, routing logic, and account and security settings.
  • Develop future-state concepts for sign-up entry path resolution, embedded authentication components, and consolidated security settings.
  • Produce production-ready designs, including end-to-end flows, comprehensive state coverage across empty, loading, error, edge-case, and recovery states, responsive and mobile web experiences, redlines, and engineering-ready specifications.
  • Conduct lightweight usability validation of key flows and draft interface copy for content review.
  • Provide design QA support throughout implementation and launch.
  • Participate in engineering scoping and refinement, working directly with engineers to reason about authentication flows, verification and session states, routing logic, system dependencies, and edge cases.

We offer

  • US and EU projects based on advanced technologies.
  • Competitive compensation based on skills and experience.
  • Flexibility in workspace, either remote or our welcoming office.
  • Bonuses for article writing, public talks, and other activities.
  • Free tech webinars and meetups organized by Svitla.
  • Regular corporate online activities.
  • Awesome team, friendly and supportive community!
