UX Strategist The Opportunity: Support Department of War missions by designing and shaping intuitive, data-driven experiences for our product web application implementations. Blend UX strategy, user research, and hands-on interface design to ensure that warfighters, analysts, and civilian mission partners can navigate complex information and make time critical decisions with clarity and confidence. Lead end-to end experience strategy, including user research, journey mapping, and workflow analysis. Design high-quality user interfaces, wireframes, prototypes, and interaction models for operational web applications. Translate complex mission needs into simple, intuitive digital experiences. Collaborate across product and engineering teams to ensure that design decisions enhance operational readiness and align with customer goals. You Have: • 3+ years of experience with UX strategy, user research, UI/UX design, or product experience roles • Experience designing data-heavy, mission-focused web applications • Knowledge of Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch • Knowledge of information architecture, interaction design, and design systems • Knowledge of Section 508 or WCAG accessibility and usability best practices • Ability to conduct user interviews, usability testing, and workflow studies with technical and non-technical users • Ability to produce wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and polished UI designs • Ability to translate complex mission or analytical concepts into intuitive user experiences • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance • HS diploma or GED Nice If You Have: • Experience working with Department of War customers • Experience in Agile environments working closely with product managers and engineers • Experience with building or contributing to scalable design systems • Knowledge of operational, analytical, or planning workflows used within the Department of War • Knowledge of research synthesis methods such as journey mapping, persona development, and ecosystem mapping Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Compensation Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
