Full Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled UX Designer with integrated Project Management capabilities to lead the design and delivery of user-centered digital solutions. This hybrid role blends human-centered design expertise with structured project execution, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

The ideal candidate excels at creating intuitive, accessible, and visually compelling user experiences while simultaneously driving cross-functional teams through clear planning, communication, and execution. They serve as the connective tissue between business stakeholders, design, and technology translating goals into actionable design strategies, facilitating alignment across teams, and ensuring that every solution is grounded in user insight and operational feasibility.

The UX Designer will be someone who is comfortable conducting research, crafting wireframes, and building prototypes while managing timelines, coordinating resources, and presenting to executive and non-technical audiences, bringing a balanced blend of creativity, analytical thinking, and delivery discipline to shape digital experiences that are both impactful and scalable.

UX Design & Research
• Lead end-to-end UX design by driving user experience strategy and execution across web, mobile, and enterprise applications
• Conduct user research by performing interviews, usability testing, and stakeholder discovery to inform data-driven design decisions
• Create design artifacts by developing personas, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs that translate complex requirements into intuitive experiences
• Maintain design systems by establishing scalable standards, ensuring WCAG accessibility compliance, and collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Architecture to deliver consistent, feasible solutions

Project Management & Delivery
• Lead project execution by planning, managing, and delivering UX and digital initiatives using Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies while defining scope, timelines, deliverables, and resource needs
• Drive delivery oversight by tracking progress, managing risks and issues, and ensuring high-quality, on-time execution across all project phases
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies by running stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and stakeholder reviews to maintain alignment and momentum
• Coordinate cross-functional teams by partnering with designers, developers, business analysts, and vendors while maintaining clear documentation including project plans, status reports, and governance artifacts

Stakeholder Engagement
• Serve as primary liaison by connecting business stakeholders, IT, and design teams to ensure shared understanding and alignment
• Translate business goals by converting strategic objectives into actionable UX strategies, requirements, and project plans
• Communicate insights effectively by presenting design concepts, research findings, and project updates to executive and non-technical audiences.
• Drive cross-team alignment • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, UX Design, HCI, Computer Science, Business, or another related field
• 4 years of experience in UX design and 3 years in project management or delivery leadership
• Proven experience delivering end-to-end digital products or enterprise applications
• Proficiency with UX tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and prototyping platforms
• Strong experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project)
• Demonstrated ability to balance design thinking with delivery execution

Segal's total rewards are part of what makes us a special place to work. The current salary range for this position is $84,000 to $105,000 plus opportunity for a discretionary performance bonus based on company profitability and employee performance. In addition, Segal offers a comprehensive suite of benefits to include a non-contributory defined benefit pension plan, matching and discretionary contributions to a 401(k) profit sharing plan, medical and prescription benefits including contributions to a health savings account for eligible employees, dental benefits, life insurance, disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, wellness benefit reimbursements and rewards, and professional credential and tuition reimbursement.
