What you'll do...
Role summary:
The Lead Technician, Facility Services, Exterior Services, oversees and supports teams to ensure high-quality maintenance and landscaping operations. This role involves coordinating work assignments, providing guidance, and ensuring compliance with safety and company standards. The position requires expertise in horticulture, pest management, and facility upkeep, while fostering strong relationships with associates and stakeholders. The Lead Technician drives continuous improvement, models integrity, and promotes a positive work environment to meet business priorities and deliver exceptional service aligned with Walmart's values and operational goals.
What you'll do:
  • Lead and coordinate facility exterior services teams to meet business priorities and customer needs.
  • Assign duties, communicate goals, and monitor team performance to ensure quality and timely completion of work.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and support to associates, fostering skill development and compliance with policies.
  • Maintain safety and quality standards by ensuring equipment and supplies are functional and available.
  • Manage landscaping tasks including planting, pruning, pest control, and general maintenance using horticultural best practices.
  • Utilize technology to complete work orders, maintain records, and track compliance with regulations.

The hourly wage range for this position is $26.00 - $51.00*

*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.








Minimum Qualifications...

Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position. If none are listed, there are no minimum qualifications.

21 years of age or older.
Valid, state-issued driver's license.
No convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI, or reckless driving involving alcohol or drugs within the last three (3) years.
No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years, if driving a commercial motor vehicle.
No serious traffic violations (as defined by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations) in the 3 years, if operating a commercial motor vehicle.
No preventable accidents (as defined by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations) in the last 3 years, if operating a commercial motor vehicle.
Successful completion of a DOT physical and medical certification within 90 days of hire.
As required by section 391.11(b)(2) of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, ability to read and speak in the English language.
2 years' experience in the landscaping/gardening industry.
