Full Job Description
VERSYS (Verified Systems) is a privately-owned, thriving company delivering low and medium voltage services for industrial commissioning, start up, maintenance, construction, and panel fabrication across Canada and the U.S. We're hiring an Electrical Construction Superintendent working for our U.S. division, integrating directly into a client CMT overseeing electrical and commissioning contractors.

This is a high-impact, field-forward leadership role for someone fully committed to the project and their crew. This means showing up, leaning in, and doing what it takes to get the job done while keeping safety, quality, and execution on track. If you're the kind of leader people trust, then this role is for you.

What You'll Do:
  • Lead the work: Direct electrical crews, subcontractors, and site personnel with clear daily priorities, strong coordination, and accountability.
  • Own safety & compliance: Enforce OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, NEC, and local requirements-no shortcuts.
  • Drive execution: Oversee electrical installations and systems to ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Protect the plan: Review and enforce drawings, plans, and specifications; interpret blueprints, schematics, and one-lines.
  • Inspect & correct early: Perform regular inspections; identify deficiencies fast and drive corrective action to prevent delays.
  • Coordinate across disciplines: Act as the liaison between contractors, other trades, and the project management team to keep progress moving.
  • Report with precision: Maintain and submit daily progress reports (activities, labor hours, equipment usage, weather conditions, permits/inspection records, and key documentation).
  • Support design alignment: Review electrical designs/drawings/specs and provide practical feedback to ensure installations meet project goals.

What We're Looking For:

Required
  • Master Electrician (required)
  • U.S. electrical license (required)
  • 15-20 years overseeing T&M and fixed-price electrical contractors (required)
  • Strong written and verbal communication; confident people leadership
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis

Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management
  • 8+ years electrical construction supervision/field experience (baseline)

Assignment & Schedule
  • 24+ month assignment (approx. 2 years)
  • 10-hour days, 5 days/week

What You Get at Versys
  • Competitive hourly wages + daily per diems (including weekends) + daily truck rates
  • Health insurance contribution
  • 401(k) matching
  • A team that values precision, safety, and strong leadership
  • Real opportunity to put your stamp on systems, structure, and execution
