Additionally, you will drive key compliance processes such as account audits, regulatory requirements documentation, and collaboration with Rippling's Tax Operations team.

You will serve alongside our small but mighty Payroll Compliance team whose objective is to ensure that Rippling's payroll and tax systems remain best-in-class and compliant with changing tax laws across the nation. Your work will immediately touch hundreds of thousands of employees and billions in fund flows.

What you will do

  • Define product requirements to meet both existing and new payroll / tax regulatory changes
  • Define and execute audit processes to validate payroll calculations and ensure compliance of Rippling's payroll system

  • Proactively research and stay up to date with payroll tax regulations and rules
  • Be Rippling's point of contact and liaison with federal, state and local tax agencies
  • Own all payroll compliance functions related to assigned states, ensuring the Rippling system remains fully compliant with local regulations

  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong end-to-end project management, time management, and organizational skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset (flexible, self-starting, and hard-working)
