Job DescriptionWhat you'll accomplish with us As an Underwriter, you'll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation of group insurance quotations, renewal pricing, and requests for modifications.
- Ensure financial agreements align with business objectives and that proposal wording accurately reflects our administration and service capabilities.
- Participate in renewal presentations with existing and prospective clients, as well as their advisors.
- Support the development of junior and intermediate underwriters through coaching and mentoring.
- Collaborate with the Group Underwriting Manager to ensure underwriting tools and approaches support profitable business growth while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

- Has 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Group Insurance underwriting.
- Has a solid knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Advanced level of French proficiency is required, as the incumbent will be required to prepare and review group insurance quotations, participate in renewal presentations, communicate with French speaking clients, advisors, and business partners, and collaborate with stakeholders on a regular basis.

The typical hiring range for this position is between 55 376$ and 115 376$ CAD per year; the base salary offered may vary depending on knowledge, skills, years of experience, and internal equity related to the role.
