Position Summary:

The UI/UX and Front-End Developer is responsible for designing intuitive, user-centered digital experiences and supporting the development of scalable web applications. This role establishes and maintains UI/UX standards, creates wireframes and design documentation, contributes to front-end development efforts, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality applications. The position also supports application testing, documentation, troubleshooting, and ongoing enhancements while ensuring alignment with organizational technology standards and business objectives.

Essential Job Functions:

• Develop, maintain, and promote UI/UX standards, best practices, and design consistency across applications.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and design documentation to support application development initiatives.
• Maintain and enhance UI/UX style guides to ensure a consistent and accessible user experience.
• Contribute to the front-end development of full-stack web applications using modern development practices.
• Design, develop, and support new and existing .NET websites, applications, and reporting solutions.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code that supports performance, reliability, and long-term application growth.
• Review, troubleshoot, test, and resolve issues within existing applications and systems.
• Perform functional, usability, and performance testing prior to deployment.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries to support application functionality, integrations, and reporting needs.
• Maintain data integrity and support data quality initiatives across applications and databases.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and development documentation.
• Track project activities, task completion, and development progress using project management tools.
• Assist in developing application support and troubleshooting procedures to improve operational efficiency and user support.
• Collaborate with developers, stakeholders, and business partners to deliver innovative, user-focused technology solutions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Development, User Experience Design, or a related field preferred.
• Three (3) to five (5) years of professional experience in software development, UI/UX design, or a related technology role.
• Experience developing and supporting web-based applications and websites.
• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles, wireframing, prototyping, and user-centered design methodologies.
• Proficiency with .NET development, front-end technologies, and SQL databases.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday (work schedule may vary). Some overtime may be required and ability to work extended hours as needed to meet business needs.

This position requires close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading. The ability and means to travel locally, overnight, in specific regions or states via automobile and airplane may be required.
