Job DescriptionReporting to the Manager, UAT, the UAT Analyst Lead is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of business-requested products and services (e.g., rate plans, add-ons) as well as IT and network releases. This role involves hands on execution and provide support to team members.
- UAT and QA Testing Activities: Participate the end-to-end testing process, including UAT, system testing, and QA for various initiatives such as product launches, pricing/promotions, device rollouts, roaming destinations, IT/network systems, and IT releases.
- Monitor and Escalate: Track test execution progress, act as the escalation point for critical defects or issues, and assist with test case execution when necessary to ensure timely delivery.
- Define Test Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to align on test scope and strategy based on business requirements and technical solutions.
- Test Case Development & Execution: Work with UAT analysts to develop test cases that reflect business requirements and customer impact, ensuring successful outcomes before launch.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Coordinate with IT QA teams to align on UAT entry criteria and provide feedback based on business needs and system design.
- UAT Sign-Off and Reporting: Support UAT analysts to prepare and review UAT checklists and results with cross-functional teams, facilitate sign-off, and confirm all acceptance criteria are met before go-live.
- Go-to-Market Readiness: Ensure technical readiness for product and service launches.
- UAT Calendar Management: Prioritize and manage the UAT calendar to align with business timelines and priorities.
- Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates and reports to leadership and business teams on UAT progress and outcomes.
- Process Improvement: Continuously enhance UAT processes, tools, and documentation standards to drive efficiency and quality.
Qualifications- University-level degree in a science or engineering field.
- 3 - 8 years of testing expertise including QA, UAT, Test Automation, Pricing & Promotion implementation. Experience in building and testing:
- Marketing products (such as rate plans, promotions, Tab pricing, short codes etc.) including smoke testing products for successful market launches.
- Integration, Regression and usability testing exposure (Black Box Testing).
- Excels at managing relationships with cross-functional stakeholders; effortlessly engages with senior leadership, colleagues, and team members.
- Ability to lead multiple small-medium-large scale projects simultaneously.
