Full Job Description
Title: Turnaround Planner/Coordinator
Location: Freeport, TX

Salary: $81,000 - $108,000
Schedule: 4-10's

Focus: The Planner/Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable execution of maintenance activities by planning detailed in spec work packages and coordinating daily scheduling between maintenance, operations, and contractors. The role will align resources, materials, and equipment availability to minimize downtime and support continuous, compliant plant operations. The Planner/Coordinator will also drive maintenance readiness and workflow efficiency across the Freeport site.

Turnaround Planner/Coordinator Essential Job Functions:
  • Ensure compliance with plant safety procedures, regulatory requirements, and best practices throughout all maintenance activities
  • Develop detailed job plans including scope, proper specification materials, tools, manpower, permits, and safety requirements
  • Work with Lead Coordinator, T/A scheduler, and Cost Controller to ensure schedule and budget accuracy on all TA jobs
  • Assist in coordination of TA schedules with operations, maintenance teams, and contractors
  • Monitor execution of maintenance work, removing barriers and adjusting schedules when needed
  • Collaborate with reliability and engineering teams to improve job plans, PM tasks, and overall maintenance effectiveness
Turnaround Planner/Coordinator Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of craft maintenance, maintenance planning, or operations experience in a manufacturing environment; chemical industry experience preferred
  • Strong planning, scheduling, organizational and problem-solving skills; proficiency planning jobs in SAP (MSMS) strongly preferred
  • Must have strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively both individually and in a team environment
  • Ability to safely use the safety harness rated for 300 lbs
  • Ability to work 4 - 10's, and ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and nights
  • Prior Olin experience in a relevant position preferred
  • Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US Driver's license
