Qualifications

• MS in Engineering with a focus on bearings and 5 years of related experience, or BS in Engineering with 8 years of experience in turbomachinery bearing design and analysis.
• In-depth knowledge of Tribology, lubrication, friction, and wear.
• Exceptional presentation skills for conveying technical information effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration and clarity.
• Proven experience in customer engagement to define requirements and update on project statuses.
• Ability to establish standards and guidelines for operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Manage a multi-disciplinary subsystem of complex rotating machinery while collaborating with various engineering disciplines.
• Analyze and design rolling element bearings, magnetic bearings, hydrostatic bearings, and bearing sump designs.
• Innovate and test oil and fuel lubrication skids for bearing and sump applications.
• Collaborate with top-tier suppliers to procure high-standard hardware.
• Correlate inspection data of post-run bearings with predictive models to enhance designs.
• Lead laboratory experiments for design verification to achieve groundbreaking advancements.
• Monitor health, durability, and performance of complex bearing systems across diverse rotating machinery applications.
