Trust Officer II (TO II), Private Bank Regional Trust Center, Dallas, TX -

The Trust Officer II (TO II) serves as the primary relationship manager for a book of trusts, investment management, IRA and other fiduciary accounts. The role is responsible for delivering exceptional client service, ensuring compliance with fiduciary standards, administering complex trust relationships, identifying opportunities to deepen client relationships, and coordinating with internal partners to provide comprehensive wealth management solutions.  Identifies opportunities for new fiduciary, investment, banking, and planning relationships. The Trust Officer works closely with Trust Senior Associate, Portfolio Managers, Wealth Strategists, and Banking partners to meet clients' evolving fiduciary, wealth and estate planning needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and harvest opportunities to deepen relationships within current client base
  • Meet with key clients periodically to maintain relationships and identify issues, new business opportunities, and provide trust, estate, and wealth transfer planning guidance
  • Proactively engage other specialists within the Private Bank to best meet client needs (wealth strategists, Office of Chief Fiduciary, etc.)
  • Fiduciary decision making
  • Proactively identify and resolve client issues
  • Document interpretation
  • Oversee risk management activities
  • Identify at-risk clients; proactively resolve issues / meet with at-risk clients as needed to drive retention
  • Ensure fiduciary accounts are administered in accordance with governing documents, applicable laws, regulations, and bank policies
  • Conduct periodic account reviews and participate in fiduciary risk discussions
  • Escalate and resolve fiduciary, legal, regulatory, and reputational risk issues
  • Oversee all administrative tasks on assigned accounts, with the support of a dedicated Trust Senior Associate

Qualifications / Desired Skills:

  • Fiduciary professional with CTFA, JD or related degrees preferred
  • 3-5+ years of trust administration, estate planning, fiduciary, private banking, or wealth management experience preferred
  • CTFA, JD, MBA, advanced degree or trust and estate designation preferred
