As aTreasury Management&Cards Sales Officer,you will be focused on growing Treasury Management and Cards solutions. The Treasury Management & Card Sales Officer (TMCSO) will alsobe responsible formaintainingand cross-selling. This roleis responsible fordirectly and/or indirectly selling andmaintainingdepository accounts, treasury managementservicesand Commercial Card solution sets. The TMCSO partners with internal stakeholders to be the single point of accountability and/oradvisoronprospectsand clientsdeposit, treasury management,riskand other company payments needs.They focus on creating and delivering customized client centric solutions through a consultative approach.

Howyoullspend your time:

  • You will manageaportfolio of existing clients withfocuson profitable, organic revenue growth and minimizing attrition.
  • You will manageportfolioof new-to-bank clients withfocuson revenue growth.
  • You will know and understandbusinessorganization, expected activity;identifyand communicate operational credit exposures and other risks.
  • You will understand treasurymanagementproduct risk and ensure UMBs credit policies and other risks (e.g., reputational, legal) are adhered to and mitigated.
  • You willestablishappropriate expectationsfor onboarding including execution of documentation and ensurerampof sold services.
  • You will conduct independent and codependent sales calls on companies to generate new,high-qualityand profitable Treasury Management and deposit business to achieve or exceed specificyear over yeargrowth goals.
  • You will take a role inmarketby actively engaging in local industry associations, networking groups and /or community associations.
  • You willidentifyworking capital efficiency opportunities for a business and deepenrelationshipsaccordingly;ensure business awareness of market and industry trends;identifydissatisfiers and escalates appropriately.
  • You will identify and refer ancillary business opportunities to appropriate partners.
  • You will design customer-centric treasury managementsolutions, andprovide consultativeexpertiseon the liquidity management cycle.
  • You willidentifyboth internal and external prospects; Develop andmaintainrelationships with prospects to profitably expand business.
  • You will provide thought leadership within and outside market through, but not limited to, hosting corporate events,attendingand speaking at industry conferences, etc.
  • You will engage with internal marketing in the design of sales collateral and company-sponsored marketing.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • You have knowledge of TM& card-based applications.

Bonus points if:

  • You possess aBachelors degree.
  • You hold one of the following certifications:Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or Certified Cash Management (CCM).
  • You have a strategic sales planning ability to define target markets and strategic sales approaches.
