About this role

Role Overview

This role sits within the Treasury Liquidity Management team in Dallas and is accountable for the processing, review, scrutiny and oversight of liquidity management activity across our private markets fund administration platform. Reporting into a Vice President, the Associate acts as the review and approval layer for daily liquidity monitoring, LP capital event working papers and notices, credit facility documentation and covenant compliance, ensuring liquidity is managed successfully for all client funds in line with SLAs and that external governance related to credit facilities is adhered to. All deliverables are subject to a minimum 4-eye review irrespective of processor, and the Associate is expected to own that layer - challenging inputs, validating calculations, evidencing controls and determining how cash shortfalls and excesses are resolved, whether through lending facilities, LP capital events or other available levers. The role extends beyond BAU: the Associate is also expected to oversee project and change activity, ensuring system, automation and process changes are tested, documented and embedded without weakening the control environment.

The Impact

Liquidity Management is central to what Treasury delivers for our clients. Understanding where clients have sufficient or insufficient cash to meet their obligations protects both client outcomes and reputation, and projecting future cash balances allows us to inform clients in a timely manner to ensure funding is in place. Equally, clients prefer not to sit on large cash balances, so identifying opportunities to distribute proceeds to investors promptly is just as important. As the reviewer, you are the last line of defense before work reaches the client desk - your scrutiny directly reduces rework, prevents delays and sustains client confidence, while your oversight of change activity ensures the platform scales without compromising control.

What you'll be doing

Review, control and oversight
  • Act as processor and approver for daily liquidity management and cash positioning across all client funds, challenging assumptions and confirming actions taken to remediate shortfalls or deploy excess balances
  • Process and review working papers for capital calls and distributions, confirming accuracy of calculations, source data and adherence to SLA and fund documentation
  • Review fund operations booked in the accounting system for LP (Limited Partner) cashflows, ensuring completeness and accuracy prior to release
  • Review notice production checklists and payment packs before hand-off to the Operations team for payment upload, ensuring evidence is complete and audit-ready
  • Oversee liquidity across the full fund structure, approving cross-currency and inter-entity transfers in partnership with the Operations team
  • Process and review borrowing bases, compliance certificates, supporting files and lender documentation for credit facility drawdowns, rollovers and repayments, confirming covenant compliance and lender requirements are met
  • Identify, escalate and resolve exceptions, breaks and control issues promptly, with clear ownership and documented resolution
  • Review and approve cash payments for client invoices and cashflows

BAU oversight and stakeholder management
  • Oversee day-to-day workflow allocation, prioritization and SLA / KPI tracking for the Dallas book of work, providing transparency over volumes, quality and timeliness
  • Act as the escalation point for internal and client queries, partnering with Fund Accounting, Tax, Investor Services, Business Integrity, Payments and regional teams across our follow-the-sun model
  • Lead client interaction on liquidity deliverables, managing expectations and building durable partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain key operating procedures and the risk and control matrix so they remain current, accurate and aligned to the control environment
  • Support audit, governance and oversight requests by ensuring evidence is complete, organized and consistent with operating standards
  • Provide day-to-day guidance, coaching and quality feedback to Analysts, promoting accountability and consistent execution

Project and change oversight
  • Represent Liquidity Management in change initiatives, including accounting platform upgrades, reporting and automation builds, and operating model enhancements - from requirements definition through UAT to go-live and post-implementation review
  • Review and challenge business requirements, test scripts and control design, confirming new processes are controlled, scalable and fully documented before adoption
  • Identify efficiency, automation and standardization opportunities, articulating the control, risk and time-save benefit, and see them through to delivery
  • Support new client onboarding and mandate implementations, ensuring liquidity deliverables are set up correctly from day one

What you'll bring to us
  • 3+ years' experience in treasury, fund operations, fund administration or a comparable financial services control environment, with demonstrable review or approval responsibility
  • Private equity / private markets knowledge, including fund structures and how funds interact within a wider structure
  • Working knowledge of credit facilities, including borrowing bases, covenants, drawdowns, rollovers and compliance reporting (desirable)
  • Experience of eFront / FIA or a similar accounting platform (desirable)
  • Advanced user of MS Excel and wider MS products - confident handling large datasets, pivot tables, SUMIFS and lookups, and able to interrogate macros and advanced calculations, correcting or enhancing logic where necessary
  • Knowledge of Power BI (desirable)
  • Familiarity with banking portals, including setting up and reviewing wires for external payments
  • Strong risk and control mindset with high attention to detail, sound judgment and a disciplined approach to escalation and evidence
  • Experience supporting, coaching or supervising junior colleagues, including work allocation, quality review and development feedback
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively across functions, regions and seniority levels
  • Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience
