Full Job Description
Role:

Treasury Advisory Manager

Location:

  • Clearsulting is headquartered in Cleveland, OH, with additional offices located in Chicago, IL; Columbus, OH; and Dallas, TX. Other cities are welcome remotely.
  • Office Options: Hybrid or Remote. Team members residing within a 45 minute commuting radius of a Clearsulting office, we expect 8 days of in-person work per month, allowing flexibility choosing these days to accommodate client meetings, team syncs and individual schedules.
  • Travel Expectations: 0-20%


What you'll do

  • Lead a team of Treasury experts to advise global companies on their Treasury function, including: designing and selecting treasury technology, assessing bank relationships and services, improving liquidity utilization, developing policies and controls, and identifying tech-agnostic, process-improvement recommendations
  • Develop and improve treasury methodologies, templates, accelerators, playbooks, and reusable deliverables.
  • Own engagements or major workstreams from planning through completion, including scope, workplans, staffing, milestones, budgets, dependencies, risks, governance and change requests
  • Build trusted relationships with treasury, finance, accounting, tax, IT, procurement, and business leaders and serve as the primary day-to-day contact for client stakeholders.
  • Develop executive-level presentations that translate complex issues into clear recommendations across processes, systems, and people
  • Utilize cutting-edge tools, software, and AI to analyze large datasets and translate findings into future-state processes, operating models, business cases, implementation roadmaps, requirements, and executive recommendations.
  • Set clear expectations and delegate work based on team members' skills and development goals and review work products and ensure client-ready quality.
  • Support proposal development, scoping, resource estimates, pricing inputs, presentations, and solution demonstrations.

What You'll Bring:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience working in consulting, treasury advisory, corporate treasury, or finance transformation
  • 3+ years of relevant experience advising on bank relationship management, banking RFPs, banking services, price negotiations and bank account rationalizations
  • 2+ years of relevant experience with treasury transformations, vendor selections, and/or TMS implementations, such as: Kyriba, GTreasury, FIS Integrity/Quantum, SAP TRM, etc.
  • 1+ year of experience supervising, coaching, or reviewing the work of other professionals.
  • Strong understanding of treasury best practices across bank relationship management, cash and liquidity forecasting, FX, debt capital markets, accounting and reconciliation, and/or system optimizations
  • Knowledge of various treasury instruments, financial institution services, and financial products
  • Strong project management experience including workplan creation and updates, milestone tracking, risk management, status updates, change management, engagement economics (profitability), and communications

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP)
  • Prior client-facing consulting experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; can clearly convey complex business concepts to internal and external project stakeholders
  • Effective organizational skills and ability to manage multiple and competing priorities

The compensation range for this position is $120,000-156,000. We are committed to ensuring our offers reflect the value each candidate brings to the role. Final salary placement will be based on upon several factors, including, level of expertise, relevant work experience, technology certifications, educational background, geography and alignment with industry standards. This role is eligible for our bonus program. (Remove for 01s or commission based roles)
