Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Traveling Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects across various locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while also ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and supervise daily operations on construction sites
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project milestones are met
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reports
- Ensure quality control measures are followed throughout the construction process
- Facilitate communication between all project stakeholders
- Train and mentor junior staff and subcontractors as necessary
Qualifications- Proven experience as a Traveling Superintendent in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and safety regulations
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Willingness to travel extensively for project assignments
- Experience with commercial construction, PEMB, industrial, pre-engineered, metal buildings, and structural steel is a plus
