Travel Tech works closely with locations, regions, and corporate management teams to provide comprehensive maintenance support and services as a backup to the Maintenance Manager when operational needs require. The position also involves ensuring a safe environment exists and that all maintenance activities comply with State, Federal, and Company requirements.

Key Responsibilities: - Monitors, evaluates, and takes corrective action for improved performance of maintenance operations within region.
- Examines and evaluates current operations to develop action plans and strategies to maximize operational efficiencies.
- Fills in as Maintenance Manager when vacancies occur and assist General Managers with hiring new Maintenance Managers.
- Trains and monitors new and current technicians and Maintenance Manager in company requirements.
- Reviews KPI, and financial reports to identify problems/ challenge areas.
- Participates in start-ups and shutdowns as necessary.
- Assists with compliance regarding all environmental programs.
- Conducts annual vehicle audits for all locations in region.
- Monitors completion of maintenance related deficiencies reported on corporate audits.
- Provides feedback to General Managers and Region Staff as to the performance of maintenance managers in region
- Performs other duties and special projects assigned by the Director of Maintenance or RVP.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- ASE Master certified
- Advance technical training.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Five years' proven experience in passenger transportation or comparable service industry maintenance management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of various performance indicators including KPI, Octave and financial statements.
- Independent thinking skills with high levels of prioritization skills.
- Excellent leadership, customer relations, and interpersonal skills to communicate and cooperate with clients and other departments.
- Knowledge of HR systems and tools.

Physical Requirements - The essential functions of this position require the ability to:
- Sit for extended periods (up to 6-8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces
- Push and pull objects, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
