Job DescriptionDewberry is currently seeking a Transportation Project Manager in our growing Rancho Cordova, CA office. The successful candidate will work on all phases of Transportation Projects for a variety of public and private sector clients.
Responsibilities
Transportation projects will include planning and design, state highway work, interchanges, roadway design, drainage systems, storm water management, utility relocations and preparation of contract documents. The successful candidate must be flexible, technologically savvy, and client focused. The work required by the successful candidate is diverse and requires familiarity with state and local design standards, Civil 3D and/or AutoCAD, strong capabilities in Microsoft Office Suite, and experience with client and project management.
Required Skills & Required Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- California Professional Engineer (PE) License.
- 10+ years' of experience in transportation engineering design.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD/Civil 3D and Microstation/Open Roads.
- Ability to work efficiently to meet project budgets and schedules.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, sub consultants, agency review staff, and utilities.
- Ability to compose concise technical reports, memorandums, and other written communication.
- Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.
Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record and ability to pass a driving record background check.

Salary Range
The projected range for this position is $104,000-$141,000 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
