This position may be based out of our Louisville or Denver office.

How You'll Contribute :
  • Manage tasks and teams associated with transportation projects.
  • Perform design services related to roadway and site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and erosion control in conformance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Prepare construction plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Microstation OpenRoads.
  • Prepare specifications and cost estimates.
  • Plan and coordinate projects with limited supervision.
  • Assist in assigning duties and schedules to team members.
  • Participate in preparing proposals and project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Participate in Business Development based on strong client relationships.
  • Provide construction support services.

The Strengths You Bring :
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (BSCE) from an accredited four-year college or university or equivalent education is required.
  • Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience as a Civil Engineer, emphasizing transportation, public infrastructure, multimodal design, drainage, utilities, site development, and civic projects for municipal and private clients.
  • Some project management experience is preferred, or experience managing budgets, schedules, and assigning tasks or collaborating with other team members.
  • Experience with technical writing and reviewing reports.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Colorado, or the ability to obtain licensure within six months of hire.
  • Demonstrated experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Microstation OpenRoads.
  • Knowledge of local and state regulations and codes, including AASHTO, CDOT, NACTO, and MUTCD design guidelines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a creative, professional team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Some experience with business development and client relationships is preferred.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000 per year
