Transportation Planning Senior Analyst
Location: Dallas, TX (location is non-negotiable)
The Transportation/Supply Chain Operations Senior Analyst executes transportation planning activities including load consolidation, mode shift, and optimization of transportation routes.
Key Responsibilities
Manages tendering and execution of transportation loads
Monitors status updates from carriers (in-transit, appointment, delivered etc.)
Proactively communicate and resolve transportation exceptions
Provides customer service to clients and vendors during transportation planning and execution
Reports and analyzes designated key performance indicators which may include but are not limited to financial, satisfaction and operational metrics
Leverages AI-enabled tools and automation concepts to identify process efficiencies, improve transportation visibility, and support faster decision-making
Basic Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
Transport Management experience to include inbound and outbound logistics, dispatches, Depot Management, and Freight & Fleet Management
Knowledge of Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to include Oracle and/or Blue Yonder
Experience in routing, scheduling & consolidation of loads, backhaul operations
Understanding of transportation rules, regulations, standard processes, and business policies
Working knowledge of AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, and agentic AI concepts, with interest in applying them to supply chain operations, reporting, exception management, and process optimization
Ability to develop and manage client and carrier relationships
Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Logistics, or Operations Management
