Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Planning, Geography, Public Administration, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional planning experience, ideally in Hawai'i.
• Strong technical writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Hawai'i planning, zoning, and entitlement processes.
• Ability to meet deadlines, manage tasks, and collaborate effectively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; GIS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and prepare planning documents, reports, studies, and permit applications.
• Support land use, community, and infrastructure planning projects.
• Assist with stakeholder coordination and agency communication.
• Prepare layouts, planning graphics, and data analyses.
• Contribute to proposals, presentations, and internal project documentation.
