DescriptionGPI seeks an enthusiastic Transportation Engineer in our Milford, DE office to help further the growth and development of GPI's transportation services in the region.

Responsibilities:- Deliver projects for clients such as the Delaware Department of Transportation and the Maryland State Highway Administration.
- Build effective client relationships by working collaboratively with the client.
- Review and apply standards and other guidance to transportation applications.
- Prepare and implement solutions that are responsive to project needs.
- Complete tasks within the assigned schedule and budget.
Preferred Skills:- Proficiency with Bentley MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer.
- Proficiency with technical writing.
- Ability to create comprehensive and creative solutions to transportation problems.
- Ability to work proficiently in a collaborative team-oriented environment.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related fields preferred.
- 5+ years' experience in all aspects of Transportation Engineering preferred.
- Engineer-in-Training Certification.
- PE licensure preferred.
- Experience working on DelDOT and/or MDOT SHA projects preferred.
- Experience in all aspects of roadway design preferred.
- Experience with MicroStation and InRoads/ORD preferred.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.
RequirementsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:- Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final consideration
- Possess a personal vehicle for use on or around a job site
- Read, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English language
- Basic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team members
