The RoleAs a Transmission Line Engineer, you will transition from foundational engineering to leading your own projects. Working under the mentorship of seasoned industry experts, you will manage the full project lifecycle-from initial scoping to final construction. This role serves as a primary stakeholder contact, offering a unique blend of technical design and project leadership.
What You'll Do- Lead project scoping phases and see projects through to closure.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and cross-functional teams (Right-of-Way, Environmental, Station Engineering, Telecom, and Construction).
- Conduct construction site visits to ensure design compliance (under senior mentorship).
- Engineer transmission lines using PLS-CADD.
- Design foundations utilizing MFAD software.
- Produce load sheets and detailed drawings for custom steel poles.
- Develop comprehensive material lists and "Issue for Construction" (IFC) specification books.
What We're Looking For- Experience: 2-4 Years of Transmission Line Engineering Experience.
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Software:
- PLS Cadd (required)
- EIT (preferred)
- MFAD (preferred)
