Job Description & Summary
In transfer pricing, customs and international trade at PwC, you will focus on providing guidance and support to clients on cross border transaction matters. In this field, you will help businesses establish and maintain appropriate pricing for transactions between related entities, maintain compliance with tax regulations, and minimize the risk of disputes.

Meaningful work you'll be part of

As a Transfer Pricing, Customs and International Trade Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in data collection, analysis, and writing of background documents, including short memos and research papers
  • Data research using both publicly accessible and firm-specific databases
  • Drafting client deliverables, including emails, letters, reports, etc
  • Follow risk management and compliance procedures
  • Keep up to date with developments in area of specialism
  • Invite and give in the moment feedback in a constructive manner
  • Share and collaborate effectively with others
  • Identify and make suggestions for improvements when problems and/or opportunities arise
  • Build and maintain an internal and external network
  • Seek opportunities to learn about how PwC works as a global network of firms


Experiences and skills you'll use to solve

  • Business Administration, Finance, Economics or International Business-related degrees. A graduate degree is considered an asset
  • An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate new ideas
  • Ability to manipulate public databases and PwC proprietary benchmarking tools, as well as robust skills using software applications including Excel, Power Bi, Alteryx, etc
  • You should be conscientious, self-motivated, detail oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills and be able to assume responsibility for various aspects of a project within a team framework
  • Ability to easily adapt and prioritize, demonstrating project management skills to handle changing priorities

The salary range for this position is $60000 - $100,100. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.
