Torch Technologies is seeking a
Senior Systems Engineer SME to join a team utilizing expertise in mission/software assurance, system architecture, and interface design at Eglin AFB, FL.
As a Senior Systems Engineer SME, your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:- Participate in hardware/software engineering activities, including mission/software assurance, code reviews, static analysis, testing, and engineering reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Provide input to programs on software architectures that are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to software quality, security, and performance.
- Ensure hardware/software engineering and assurance processes are acceptable and reports are assessed.
- Provide technical guidance by assessing objective evidence for hardware/software engineering.
Required Qualifications: - U.S. Citizenship.
- Master's Degree in a technical field and a minimum of 10 years of relevant technical experience working on high-visibility or mission critical aspects is required. 12 years of relevant technical experience may be substituted for a master's degree or 8 years of relevant technical experience and a technical BS Degree.
- Additional experience may be substituted for education with customer approval.
- Ability to Obtain and Maintain an Active Secret Clearance.
