Title:

Threat Analyst – Intermediate

This is a contingent position based upon contract award

KBR is seeking a Threat Analyst - Intermediate, to conduct in-depth analysis of potential threats to space assets and operations, supporting mission assurance and strategic decision-making. This role involves evaluating adversarial capabilities, monitoring global space activities, and producing actionable intelligence products for internal and external stakeholders. The analyst will collaborate with operations, intelligence, and engineering teams to maintain situational awareness and provide timely assessments during critical events. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical skills, technical proficiency in space domain awareness, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an opportunity to influence threat mitigation strategies and enhance space security posture. This role is performed full-time on site at a government facility and is contingent upon contract award.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed analysis of potential threats to space systems, including adversarial capabilities and emerging technologies.
  • Monitor global space activities and maintain situational awareness of operational environments.
  • Develop and deliver threat assessments, risk reports, and intelligence products for leadership and mission teams.
  • Support real-time operations during critical events by providing timely threat analysis and recommendations.
  • Document findings and maintain accurate records in accordance with organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with mission operations, engineering, and intelligence teams to validate threat information.
  • Participate in operational readiness exercises and post-event reviews.
  • Contribute to process improvements and tool development for threat analysis workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with established security protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in preparing briefings and presentations for internal and external stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience: Master’s degree and 7 years of relevant experience with demonstrated expertise, OR Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of relevant experience with demonstrated expertise, OR No degree and 10 years of relevant experience with demonstrated expertise.
  • Demonstrated expertise in space operations, threat analysis, or intelligence disciplines.
  • Proficiency with analytical tools, data visualization platforms, or space domain awareness systems.
  • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with adjudicated polygraph

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with adversarial threat modeling or counterspace capability assessments.
  • Familiarity with international space security standards and coordination protocols.

Additional Compensation:
