BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Fire Protection/Safety Engineering
5+ years of experience in inspecting mechanical, electrical, fire safety, or plumbing systems
Professional Engineer (PE) license or capability to obtain within three months
Master Code Professional (MCP) and/or Certified Building Official (CBO) preferred
Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of certified field inspectors for various building systems
Oversee training, quality control, report preparation, budgeting, and project management
Engage in marketing and business development to enhance client relationships
Utilize practical experience in engineering building systems inspections
Carry out other duties as required

Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a group of certified field inspectors for electrical, mechanical, architectural, structural, plumbing, and fire safety building inspections, as well as office project managers (degreed engineers)
Provide necessary training and mentoring to the team of inspectors, overseeing quality control, final report review and preparation, preparation of budget proposals, and management of projects related to building system inspections and traditional construction materials testing projects
Additional responsibilities include marketing and business development and assisting other staff in marketing our services by maintaining and developing client interactions
Practical experience in design or conducting inspections of engineering building systems (MEP/Fire)
Other duties as assigned
