Role: Testing Lead

Location: Boston, MA 02110

Work Arrangement: Onsite, 3 days per week

Additional Travel: 1 day per month to 1 Enterprise Drive, Quincy, MA 02170

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Testing Lead to oversee testing activities, quality standards, documentation, and coordination across multiple project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong testing leadership experience, a solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies, and hands-on knowledge of testing activities across the software development lifecycle.

The role requires excellent communication, organization, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with technical, functional, development, and testing teams.

Required Skills
• 8+ years of professional experience, including at least 5 years of testing experience
• At least 2 years of experience leading testing teams
• Experience overseeing testing teams within large organizations or projects with multiple teams
• Bachelor's degree
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) activities and Agile methodologies
• Strong understanding of testing activities across the SDLC, including functional testing, integration testing, device and browser compatibility testing, accessibility testing, and user acceptance testing
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong organization, prioritization, and planning skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and project teams in a fast-paced environment
• Local to the Boston, MA area
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Teams
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Skills
• Experience with Jira and Zephyr
• Experience working with multiple testing teams and project leads
• Experience preparing testing presentations and executive-level test results
• Experience with Requirements Traceability Matrices
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot

Key Responsibilities
• Work directly with the Technical Manager to follow project processes and meet quality expectations.
• Document testing processes and standards, including test plans, test cases, and defects.
• Conduct quality checks and reviews of testing documentation prepared by the testing team.
• Prepare meeting materials and PowerPoint presentations to communicate test plans and test results.
• Collaborate with functional and development teams to understand desired functionality and respond to testing-related questions.
• Prepare testing deliverables including Requirements Traceability Matrices.
• Facilitate integration testing and user acceptance testing activities across multiple testing teams.
• Coordinate testing activities across project teams and team leads.
• Ensure testing activities align with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Support effective communication and collaboration among technical, functional, development, and testing teams.
• Manage multiple testing activities and priorities while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
• Proactively identify testing needs and support a positive experience for project stakeholders.
