Role Overview

We are seeking experienced Java Backend Developers with strong hands-on experience in enterprise application development, distributed architectures, Spring frameworks, REST and SOAP services, relational databases, and application deployment.

The ideal candidate will have experience developing enterprise-scale applications, writing comprehensive unit tests, working with application servers, and collaborating with technical and business stakeholders in Agile environments.

Required Skills
• Strong experience designing and developing n-tier architectures including UI, business logic, and data access layers
• Experience with distributed architectures and integration hubs such as DataPower, Mule, or other ESB technologies
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Core, and Spring Transactions
• Strong understanding of J2EE frameworks and internals including JSP, EJB, Servlets, JNDI, JDBC, JMS, JTA, Log4J, thread management, and asynchronous Java processes
• Experience developing REST and SOAP services using JAX-WS, JAX-RS, and/or Spring
• Experience building enterprise-scale applications with end-to-end build, packaging, and deployment
• Experience with application servers such as WebSphere and JBoss
• Experience developing unit test cases using JUnit, Mockito, Jest, or similar frameworks
• Hands-on experience with relational databases such as Oracle and strong understanding of database principles and SQL
• Knowledge of SDLC processes and application lifecycle management tools such as JIRA
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Recent hands-on development experience
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a development team

Preferred Skills
• Experience optimizing SQL queries using indexes, partitioning, and other performance techniques
• Experience writing complex SQL queries using joins, subqueries, and related techniques
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging SQL performance and query issues
• Frontend development experience with React or Angular and Node.js
• Experience mentoring junior developers and leading technical designs
• Experience performing code reviews and recommending automated code review tools
• Experience collaborating with product, engineering, and business teams to understand requirements
• Experience adapting to complex enterprise environments
• Strong understanding of software implementation best practices and quality-focused development
• Experience working in Agile development environments

Education Requirement
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
