Full Job Description
Join PSE as a Testing & Inspection Manager and help lead our growing Utility Engineering & Design team. In this position, you will oversee day-to-day testing and inspection operations, support utility and industrial clients, and ensure high-quality, compliant service delivery. We're looking for a strong leader with expertise in electrical utility systems, testing, and maintenance who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about developing teams and delivering exceptional client service. Preferred to have someone hybrid at one of our PSE offices.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Lead and support the daily operations of Testing & Inspection team.
  • Provide Leadership, coaching, performance feedback, and development opportunities for team members.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for project, operation, and client-related matters.
  • Analyze test and inspection data and provide evaluations and recommendations on equipment performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and consistency.
  • Operate electrical testing equipment and support maintenance, wiring, and equipment installation activities.
  • Prepare test and inspection reports and communicate findings to clients and leadership.
  • Travel up to 75% to client sites as needed.


What You Will Need:

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
  • Previous experience in utility systems testing, inspection, operations, or maintenance required.
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • 10 + years of experience working in utility, industrial, or substation environments strongly preferred.


Knowledge and Skills
  • Strong knowledge of electrical utility systems and equipment.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret technical testing and inspection data.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.


Compensation:

  • Salary Range: $129,277 - $142,747 annually.


This salary range reflects the anticipated base salary for ten to fifteen years of relevant experience. The successful candidate will be placed at a level that is commensurate with the candidate's relevant years of experience, education, and technical expertise.
