Job DescriptionJob Title: Test Vehicle EngineerWorking Pattern: FulltimeWorking location: Indianapolis, INWe have an exciting opportunity as a Test Vehicle Engineer, where you will work with a team of test engineers to support subsystem and component testing. As a part of this role, you will plan design and execute subsystem level tests that support Rolls-Royce development programs.
What you will be doingWith this attractive opportunity you will get a chance to:
- Plan and execute mechanical testing of subsystems and components
- Design and construct test setups to achieve specified test results for customers
- Coordinate test readiness reviews, risk assessments and data review sessions
- Design, troubleshoot, and maintain complex electro-mechanical test systems, instrumentation, advanced data acquisition, and experimental test control systems
- Perform data analysis for troubleshooting test systems and present results to internal and external customers
- Manage facility assets and instrumentation, including tracking and coordinating calibration schedules and performing required periodic maintenance

Basic Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 1 year of engineering experience, OR
- Master's degree in Engineering, OR
- PhD in Engineering
- Must be a U.S. Citizen in order to be eligible for consideration
Preferred Requirements:- Experience with LabView software
- Familiarity with aerospace engines and engine controls technology
