Chipton-Ross is seeking a Test Engineer for a contract opportunity in Littleton, CO.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)3+ years of professional experience for this role.
Must have an active Top Secret Clearance
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES- Participate in requirements analysis, configuration determination, design, alterations, material procurement, manufacturing, test and acceptance for a wide variety of electrical and electromechanical test systems and multifunction integrated test equipment in support of the Program.
- Mentor Junior engineers, interface extensively with out customers, as well as senior leadership.
- Create/update project/process documentation that align to project requirements.
- Lead the design, procurement, assembly, test and verification of our automated test systems, including data review and trending.
- Develop hardware requirements from subsystem to all locally assigned support equipment test systems.
- Interface with suppliers, customer and internal design teams to provide cost effective and low risk solutions.
- Develop test system design documentation to communicate proposed designs to internal design and business teams, vendors and customers.
- Support, as required, Failure Review Board activities through closure.
REQUIRED EDUCATIONAccredited Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education
