Test and Evaluation Software Engineer (Associate or MId-Level)
Position Responsibilities Include:- Develops code and integrates complex software components into a fully functional system
- Develop software verification plans, test procedures and test environments, execute the test procedures and documents test results to ensure software system requirements are met
- Exercises critical thinking and innovative problem solving
- Analyzes and supports factory support issues related to software/hardware integration
- Develop test architecture for software products (Test Executives, T&C Engine, Tools)
- Develops and executes software project and process plans, implements policies and procedures
- Develop new interfaces for new instruments and systems in C, C#, .net and other object-oriented languages as well as experience in scripting languages Python, TCL, and Linux
- Enhance test case architecture for Bus and Radio Frequency (RF) product testing
- Build software environment for testing in the factory and oversee smooth execution of testing
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): - This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- Experience with the Software development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience in software programming with C, C++, C#, .NET coding, debug, and development
- Experience in shell scripting languages including Python
- Experience developing verification requirements, verification plans and test procedures
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):- Level 2: 2 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Level 3: 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
- Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science or Software Engineering
- Experience in Object Oriented Application Development
- Knowledge of telemetry and command formats, timing requirements for satellite communication and processing
- Familiarity with Model-Based Engineering (MBE) and/or Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), including experience in a configuration-managed environment and compliance with standards
- Knowledge of RF (Radio Frequency) measurements and testing
- Experience with front end web programming such as Angular or React

Summary pay range Associate: $98,600 - $131,400
Summary pay range Mid-Level: $119,850 - $162,150
