We are seeking an experienced
Territory Sales Manager to drive and support the commercialization of our innovative catheter technology across the
New York City Metro sales territory.
Roles and Responsibilities- Conduct sales calls to healthcare professionals to promote AngioSafe medical devices.
- Build, cultivate, and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at hospitals, office-based labs (OBLs), and ambulatory surgical centers (ASCs).
- Provide product information, demonstrations, and clinical support to healthcare professionals.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market conditions to leadership.
- Stay informed of industry regulations, product innovations, clinical developments, and the competitive landscape.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales opportunities.
- Attend medical conferences and industry events to develop relationships with potential customers and key opinion leaders.
Skills, Experience, Education & Behaviors- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
- Award-winning and proven track record in medical device sales (7-10 years), preferably in peripheral or coronary interventions or endovascular markets.
- In-depth knowledge of vascular anatomy, disease states including PAD and CTO, and procedural workflows.
- Established relationships within the NYC Metro market with interventional cardiologists, vascular surgeons, and/or interventional radiologists strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience navigating Value Analysis Committees (VACs) and supply chain.
- Ability to manage office-based labs (OBLs), ambulatory surgical centers (ASCs), and hospital accounts.
- Demonstrated business acumen with consistent overachievement of sales quotas in capital and/or disposable medical device sales.
- Ability to execute strategic territory planning, identify high-potential accounts, and displace competitive products.
- Skilled in physician education and procedural case support in Cath Lab and/or OR settings.
- Ability to independently support procedures and confidently guide physicians step-by-step through the use of a medical device during live cases.
- Ability to train physicians and staff on device use and procedural integration.
- Strong aptitude for troubleshooting during live cases.
- Comfortable discussing device mechanism of action and clinical data with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Experience with competitive economic selling, including ROI modeling and reimbursement knowledge.
- Adept at creating multi-touch account penetration strategies involving physicians, administration, and supply chain.
- Understanding of the competitive landscape, including wires, atherectomy, IVL, CTO crossing devices, balloons, and stents.
- Self-starter with a hunter mentality and a demonstrated ability to open new accounts, not simply maintain existing business.
- Resilient and effective in long sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers.
- High-energy, credible presence in the lab and confidence interacting with KOLs and participating in clinical discussions.
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout the territory and occasionally nationally for key meetings.
- Team player who is coachable and committed to continued professional development.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and with inherent initiative.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
