TemporaryNew York-based Account Director. This role will be leave coverage spanning from middle of August through end of the year.
Responsibilities- Support day-to-day account management across two Spirits accounts
- Serve as the primary and/or support day-to-day client contact for account
- Manage client communications, responding to requests and appropriately delegating work across the junior team
- Lead weekly client status meetings, including development of agendas, recaps and action items
- Partner with Spirits team Vice President to ensure the team is executing against all plans, priorities and KPIs
- Manage account timelines and ensure all deliverables are completed accurately and on time
- Coordinate with the IAT and Influencer teams to ensure seamless execution across workstreams
- Lead execution of upcoming programming across workstreams
- Support planning and execution for events
- Oversee Press Office and Evergreen programming, ensuring the team is proactively executing against the plan and KPIs
- Field incoming Sponsorship event inquiries and oversee execution as needed
- Support execution of press strategy for brand tentpole moment and lead the team on media relations outreach and coverage confirmations against event, suite hosting and any supplementary sponsorship opportunities
- Develop and manage client deliverables
- Drafting, reviewing and finalizing client materials including, but not limited to, press releases, media pitches, media lists, communications plans, messaging documents, client presentations, meeting agendas and recaps, campaign reports and recaps, etc.
- Drive proactive media relations
- Oversee and support the team in developing creative pitch angles and identifying timely opportunities to insert brands into relevant cultural conversations
- Manage and delegate daily responsibilities to junior staff
- Meet with Vice President for bi-weekly check-ins to discuss team and account updates and feedback
Qualifications- Professional Experience: Brings at least five years of full-time experience in public relations and media relations.
- Passion & Industry Knowledge: Genuine enthusiasm and in-depth knowledge of Luxury, Lifestyle and/or Entertainment industries, with a proven track record of delivering impactful stories across diverse media.
- Build & Maintain Lasting Relationships: Maintains genuine relationships with top media outlets and key freelance writers, fostering trust and mutual respect. Your ability to connect with others strengthens our network and enhances our clients' reputation.
- Leadership & Event Management Expertise: Exemplifies proficiency in team management and orchestrating events/programs, showcasing adept organizational skills and strategic resource allocation.
- Travel Flexibility: Embraces opportunities to travel for work-related events or meetings, allowing for engagement and collaboration across diverse settings.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills online and in-person. Spanish speaking and writing skills would be a huge plus for this role.
- Media Landscape Mastery: Possesses a comprehensive understanding of the media landscape, including print, online, broadcast and new-media (i.e. podcast) channels, enabling effective media outreach and engagement.

Compensation for this role is classified as a salaried, non-exempt classification and based on our internal annual ranges for this level from 95K-110K#LI-hybrid
