Job Title: Telecommunications & Cybersecurity Analyst

Location: Remote

Clearance: Must possess a SECRET Clearance

Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen

AttainX is seeking a Telecommunications & Cybersecurity Analyst to support testing, documentation, coordination, and basic engineering activities related to telecommunications priority services used within commercial carrier networks. This role provides technical and analytical support to senior engineers, government stakeholders, and commercial telecommunications providers.

The ideal candidate will have foundational experience in telecommunications networks and cybersecurity concepts and be eager to grow in a dynamic environment supporting national-level programs. This is a mid-level role designed for candidates with moderate experience rather than senior-level engineering backgrounds.

Minimum Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Three to five years of experience in telecommunications, network operations, cybersecurity, or related technical support.
  • Basic familiarity with wireline or wireless networks, IP-based services, or LTE/5G environments.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with senior technical personnel.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain required CISA background investigations and obtain Secret clearance.
  • Must complete mandatory annual security and compliance training.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting federal or critical infrastructure programs.
  • Exposure to the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Cybersecurity certifications such as Security+, SSCP, or equivalent.
  • Understanding of telecommunications carrier environments (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile).


Job Duties:

Telecommunications Support & Testing:

  • Assist with the development and execution of test plans and procedures for telecommunications priority services.
  • Support testing in wireline, wireless, IP, LTE, and emerging 5G environments under senior engineer guidance.
  • Document test results, observations, and issues for review by senior technical staff.
  • Help prepare technical reports and engineering documentation.
  • Participate in meetings and technical discussions with internal and external stakeholders.


Carrier & Program Support:

  • Assist with Operations, Administration, Maintenance, and Provisioning (OAM&P) documentation and coordination activities.
  • Support review and analysis of proposed carrier implementations and operational processes.
  • Help prepare program documentation, presentations, and technical summaries.
  • Cybersecurity Support
  • Assist with cybersecurity documentation and compliance requirements for telecommunications systems.
  • Support the development and maintenance of security controls and cybersecurity artifacts.
  • Participate in security assessments, vulnerability reviews, and risk documentation activities under supervision.
  • Help maintain Interconnection Security Agreements (ISAs) and ATO-related materials.


Work Location & Schedule:

  • Remote work permitted; internet access and availability during core hours (8:30 AM-5 PM EST) required.
  • Occasional after-hours or weekend support may be required during government critical reporting events.
  • 25% of travel may be required with approval.
