Full Job Description
This multi-faceted position is responsible for driving technology adoption and customer confidence through the delivery of training services, a formalized approach to quality testing and advanced application support.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • New Hire Training - Develop and deliver a multi-touch, targeted technology training program for new hires to ensure knowledge becomes embedded within core work processes.
  • New Technology Training - Function as a project subject matter expert (SME) to learn new technology, develop training materials and conduct training sessions to support the deployment phase.
  • Quality Testing - Support the IT Department's commitment to quality by partnering with technical SMEs to thoroughly test applications and inventory errors, issues, and concerns.
  • Advanced Applications Support - Act as third-tier escalation SME for core software including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office, iManage, Word LX, and Adobe
  • Other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree and 7+ years' experience creating and delivering educational content and communications (written, audio, video) to time-constrained professionals.
  • Previous law firm experience required.
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft Office, iManage and related software typically used in a law firm.
  • Experience in adult learning concepts and adoption techniques for busy professionals.
  • Solid understanding of the relationship between technology and workflow and how to drive adoption of new technologies.
  • Demonstrated success in promoting new technologies in a non-technical way; adept at storytelling.
  • Good interpersonal skills; respectful and collaborative, assertive but tactful, receptive to feedback and embraces continuous improvement.
  • Credible, personable, and discrete; able to minimize conflict and engender trust.
  • Excellent work ethic, strong sense of ownership for both personal and teamwork, follow through.
  • Exercises good judgment; applies critical thinking and common sense.
  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must speak concisely and convincingly and write similarly.
