Job DescriptionInfosys is seeking a
Back End Developer. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications :- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Toronto/Mississauga, Ontario or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.

Preferred Qualification : - A minimum of 6 years of experience in backend development with a strong focus on Java 21.
- Proven experience designing, developing, and deploying robust web applications.
- In-depth knowledge of back-end development using Java, including Spring framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC), Hibernate, JPA, and J2EE principles.
- Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies (CI/CD pipelines, containerization) is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a cross-functional team.
- A passion for building user-centric and high-quality web applications.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs.Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be:
Ontario: $ 92740 to $ 123375
