About the Position: This position is with US Army 1st Special Forces Command, Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

Duties

Help

  • Serves as Program Manager and Lead Action Officer for the CTO Office.
  • Serves as primary POC for safety, internal management control, and telephone/communications.
  • Manages the CTO's Office in discovering emerging, maturing, and current technologies that can impact the Command.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience in leadership and emerging technologies to address complex integration challenges, exercises wide discretion in the achievement of missions based upon an intuitive knowledge of the CTO's mission and goals, and interfaces with higher level technical experts in emerging technologies (including, but not limited to the fields of Information Technology (IT), Robotics, UAS, Digital Force Protection, and Command and Control Operations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
