Job Description:

This role serves as the technology and people leader for the EPICenter platform, responsible for defining strategic direction, managing a team of architecture and engineering professionals, influencing enterprise stakeholders, and driving delivery of critical data governance, privacy, and protection capabilities. The leader will oversee platform strategy, investment planning, architecture governance, organizational development, and execution of a multi-year transformation roadmap supporting the firm's data protection objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Lead architecture, solution design, and strategic direction for the EPICenter platform, ensuring alignment with Enterprise Data Protection & Privacy (EDPP) objectives, regulatory requirements, and enterprise architecture standards.
  • Provide executive leadership across EPICenter initiatives, influencing senior technology and business stakeholders on platform strategy, architecture decisions, funding priorities, and delivery outcomes.
  • Drive talent development through coaching, mentoring, succession planning, and performance management to build a high-performing organization.
  • Own the EPICenter product roadmap, capability evolution, and technology strategy across data classification, discovery, attestation, governance, protection, and integration capabilities.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships across EDPP, GIS, Enterprise Architecture, Engineering, Risk, and Line of Business leaders to accelerate adoption of strategic platform capabilities.
  • Drive end-to-end delivery of platform enhancements, application integrations, workflow automation, and user experience improvements supporting thousands of applications and enterprise users.
  • Lead technical planning, architecture reviews, design governance, and execution oversight for strategic platform initiatives and modernization efforts.


Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of technology experience with at least 5+ years leading enterprise-scale architecture, platform engineering, or technology transformation initiatives.
  • Extensive experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale technology solutions and architectures.
  • Proven experience leading architecture, engineering, or platform teams delivering complex business and regulatory capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of application architecture, systems integration, APIs, data management, and governance frameworks.
  • Experience partnering with senior business and technology leaders to define strategy, roadmap, investment priorities, and execution plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large, cross-functional initiatives from concept through implementation.
  • Strong executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and technology lifecycle management.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.


Desired Qualifications
  • Experience supporting data privacy, data protection, regulatory compliance, cybersecurity, or risk management initiatives.
  • Knowledge of enterprise data governance, metadata management, data classification, and privacy controls.
  • Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks and modern cloud-based architectures.
  • Familiarity with financial services technology environments and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience leading platform modernization and digital transformation efforts.
  • Advanced degree and/or industry certifications in architecture, cloud technologies, data management, or technology leadership.
  • Demonstrated success building high-performing technical teams and establishing architecture governance practices.
