Eaton's ES AMER NAS division is currently seeking a Technical Support Engineer. This is a hybrid role based at our Arden, NC facility.

What you'll do:

This position provides technical support for the assigned technical support team. The Industrial Control and Circuit Protection Components team supports products including motor starters and contactors, soft starters, control relays, motor overload protection products, pilot devices and molded case circuit breakers. A second team provides technical support for Residential Products including loadcenters, circuit breakers, group metering and Commercial and Industrial Power Distribution Components including dry type transformers andswitching devices (safety switches, rotary switches). Technical support includes assisting customers with product selection, troubleshooting, and application assistance received via phone, email and chat.

In this function you will:

• Provide technical support via phone, chat and email
• Effectively communicate product value proposition and product line strategies
• Help the team meet or exceed team metrics
• Leverage information to provide professional customer support
• Perform assigned duties in a team environment
• Work on projects to enhance team performance and customer satisfaction
• Work rotational hours 8:00am - 5:00pm ET and 9:00am - 6:00pm ET

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• 2+ years' experience in a customer-facing role

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• 2+ years' experience in technical product support
• Hands on electrical wiring experience

The expected annual salary range for this role is $67500.0 - $99000.0 a year.
