Job DescriptionWe're looking for a consultative, client-focused Technical Solution Consultant to help organizations optimize and modernize their accounts payable processes through innovative payment solutions.
In this role, you'll partner with sales teams and their clients to uncover business challenges, assist with solution discovery, recommend tailored payables solutions, and support successful implementation transitions. You'll serve as a trusted advisor throughout the sales lifecycle, combining industry expertise, solution design, and relationship-building skills to deliver exceptional client outcomes.

What You'll Do- Support the sale of complex accounts payables solutions.
- Lead discovery conversations to understand client payables processes, goals, and challenges.
- Assess business needs and recommend tailored solutions that align with client objectives.
- Deliver impactful demonstrations, presentations, and solution recommendations.
- Partner with sales teams to develop solution strategies and strengthen client relationships.
- Address technical questions and build confidence in proposed solutions throughout the sales cycle.
- Collaborate with internal partners and vendors to support implementation readiness and successful handoffs.
- Contribute to a positive client experience through consultative engagement and proactive communication.
- Educate internal partners on solution capabilities and best practices.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Typically 10 or more years of related experience, preferably selling multiple, complex integrated solutions to a variety of customers
Preferred Skills & Experience- Demonstrated consultative, solutions-based selling background and experience
- Proficient technical and analytical acumen
- Considerable knowledge of products and solutions in primary area of responsibility as well as related products and solutions offered by other business lines
- Solid proficiency demonstrating complex/software based solutions
- Proficient in working effectively with a variety of function groups to assemble customer solutions
- Effective presentation, training, verbal and written communication skills
- Strong accounts payable and payables process expertise
- Experience leading discovery, needs assessment, and solution design discussions
- Ability to partner effectively across sales, implementation, and support teams
- Treasury management, payments, or fintech experience
- Healthcare payables experience preferred
- Public sector, higher education, and/or middle market client experience preferred
- Experience supporting implementation transitions and client onboarding

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $134,280.00 - 164,120.00
