Job Description

Sika Corporation is currently seeking a Technical Sales Manager for CFRP Structural Strengthening Products. This position will serve as both a technical expert and a sales leader within our organization. This role is responsible for reviewing project opportunities, interpreting drawings and specifications, developing CFRP design recommendations, and providing data-driven solutions to support our customers and sales teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong engineering knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate technical requirements into practical, commercially viable solutions.
  • Review project bids, construction drawings, specifications, and other technical documents to identify opportunities for CFRP structural strengthening solutions.
  • Develop engineering-based CFRP design proposals, including calculations, material selections, and installation recommendations.
  • Prepare technical submittals, design documents, data sheets, and other supporting materials required for project approval.
  • Provide technical support to contractors, engineers, consultants, and internal sales personnel throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for growing market share and achieving sales targets within the CFRP product line.
  • Conduct jobsite visits as needed to assess project requirements, troubleshoot issues, and support field personnel.
  • Deliver presentations, trainings, and technical seminars to promote CFRP technologies and educate customers.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, structural strengthening methodologies, and competitive products.
  • Assist with R&D feedback, product improvements, and market growth initiatives.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation, reporting, and CRM updates for all assigned opportunities.

  • Ability to read, interpret, and analyze structural drawings and project specifications.
  • Excellent communication, technical writing, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed to support customers, job sites, and regional sales efforts.
