Description

OCH Technologies is seeking a Technical Recruiter to support full-cycle recruitment for our federal programs. This role works closely with program managers and the Business Development team to staff current contracts, support new awards, and identify key personnel for proposals. The ideal candidate brings government contracting experience and the ability to manage multiple requisitions under tight deadlines. This role will also assist the People Operations team in departmental and company-wide initiatives.

Hybrid Remote: Sterling, VA (Once a week)

Core Responsibilities & Duties
  • Execute full-cycle recruitment, including writing job postings, sourcing and interviewing candidates, providing recommendations for hire, conducting reference checks, and extending offers.
  • Develop and maintain candidate pipelines and networks, including veteran and cleared talent communities.
  • Leverage technology and data, including social media, job boards, and our applicant tracking system (Paylocity), to identify and attract candidates.
  • Collaborate with departmental and program managers to understand skills, competencies, and contract requirements for open positions.
  • Work with the Business Development team to support RFP efforts. This includes sourcing key personnel and contingent candidates, securing Letters of Intent, mapping candidate qualifications to contract labor categories, and formatting re9sume9s for proposal submissions.
  • Support rapid staffing for new contract awards and backfills to meet contractual fill requirements.
  • Coordinate with the Facility Security Officer on requirements related to clearance verification and investigation processing.
  • Support pre-employment processes, including background checks and E-Verify.
  • Maintain OFCCP-compliant recruiting records, including applicant flow logs, candidate dispositions, and state job bank postings.
  • Support meetings to discuss open positions and strategic approach.
  • Assist in the completion of new hire onboarding tasks.
  • Provide assistance in departmental and company-wide initiatives.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in a technical, human resources, or related field of study, or four (4) additional years of relevant experience in lieu of the degree, in addition to the minimum experience requirements.

Experience
  • A minimum of four (4)+ years of technical recruitment experience in a government contracting environment.
  • Experience recruiting candidates for cleared (Secret, TS/SCI) and public trust positions.
  • Familiarity with IT and cybersecurity roles and certifications (e.g., AWS Cloud, CISSP, Security+)
  • Knowledge of digital, traditional, and innovative sourcing tools and channels.
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, Clearance Jobs, Indeed, and Boolean search techniques.
  • Understanding of HR databases, applicant tracking systems, and candidate management systems.
  • Working knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Paylocity and Smartsheet
  • Experience supporting proposal efforts, including key personnel and contingent hire recruiting.
  • Experience recruiting candidates for cleared (Secret, TS/SCI) and public trust positions.

Compensation ranges are provided in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws. Individual offers are based on qualifications, experience, skills, internal equity, education, and demonstrated alignment with the requirements of the role.
